In 2018 Catrina graduated with honours as a Certified Makeup Artist. As her passion for the industry grew, she expanded her career.
Graduating with honours and the President Award for having the highest grade average in her program, exceeding 98%, Catrina started her journey on becoming a Certified Aesthetician in 2020.
“I have always been interested in the beauty industry since I was a little girl. I remember sitting on my moms bathroom countertop watching her apply her makeup and being so excited for the day that I was finally able to apply it on myself”.
After ending her 10 year career as a Developmental Service Worker she took a leap of faith and pulled from her passions, and is now the proud owner and operator of The Little Day Spa.
”Deciding to open up a spa was a very big decision and one not made lightly. I put everything into this business. I am proud of my accomplishments and happy to pursue my passions every day.”
Becoming a makeup artist and doing small side gigs on top of her career at the time was just the beginning for Catrina. Her knowledge base and personal life has been affected positively through her experiences. She is continually educating herself on the industries ever changing trends. By keeping up on her product knowledge she is able to offer only the very best for her clients while still keeping it affordable for her community.
